Chasebaker, Just wanted to let you know that if you shot that 25# carp in Illinois boundry waters it would have been a new state record. The current record is 22# 2oz by our very own Slim. Thought you might have wanted to know that. Nice going. Also you have to be a member of the BAA (Bowfishing Association of America to register a fish.

guess i should register with the baa. i shot half a dozen last year over 25. biggest was just a tad of 29lbs

29 lbs is a great carp for IL. Congrats!

Dave Randolph (bowfisher) is the BAA state rep. He can get you in the Bowfishing Assoc. of America for 20.00.

sorry but i know a few people that have had some bad experiences with the baa. i will just stay with my club. besides, i know i've got the state record under my belt

Nice to see you Herpin. Haven't heard anything from you since we were on that other site back when. I'd post on your new site, but as soon as I registered I got banned. Didn't even post.
