Christine & Kendall, was wondering if you have enough help for the show? Our gang is coming and spending the day on Saturday. We could relieve some of you if you need. Also are you planning on having the meeting. Boy that would really make a very late night for us out of towner's. The show does not get over until 9. then we eat and have the meeting. We are looking at getting home in the wee hours of the morning. It is one thing to do that when shooting fish, but to have a meeting is another time. We all around here would prefer having it some time at blue ridge..Wow what a day outside. The sun shinning no wind. woopie

Johnny and all, the show closes at 7pm on Saturday. This should give us enough time to eat andhave a meeting.

Please let me know where and when we will be meeting on Saturday evening since I have to work, I'll be driving right to the meeting and then spending the night so I can help on Sunday.

I am planning on coming up on friday morning and staying till sunday if ya got a empty spot on the floor for me? I am pretty sure alex is gona come up fri and stay till sat. he is plannin on stayn n a motel with the wife and drake.

yea we'll be up Friday about noon, and i'll work till about 7:00 or so, Saturday morningi'll work till Drake and Brandi get done shoppin...... Joe we got a hotel at the Hampton Inn just down for the Center, u can crash with us if ya want to Friday nite, we're gonna take Drake swimmin LOL....... 94.00 for a few minutes of fun is priceless huh... see ya'll there

I'll be coming down Friday and staying at the bowfishing halfway house (C&K's place) until Sunday after the show.

Wish I could help with setup Thurs, but duty calls.

i told Kendall we'd bring a few to look at Oneida wise, and i'm gonna set up a compound as well for everyone to see..... i got some NEW slides, arrows , rests, points,and custom reels to show as well.... and a beautiful little BOY ..... LOL

BRING THE NEW PAINT JOBBER TOO, i wanna see it .....you may bring some pics too

Looks like good weather for the show this year, unlike the deluge and heavy blowing snow we had last Feb.
Light winds out of the North and West, highs in the 30's, with 20's for lows, and only a bit of light snow early on Friday.
That's about as nice as Feb gets, at least around here.

BONUS:
I willfinally catch a break and have a tailwind coming down on Friday.
Mighteven reach 18 MPG this time. :D[8D]

i got some good news. i will be down there either saturday or sunday but not sure how long i can stay. i will help if i can but i am coming down with friends so we will talk and walk around but then i have to cut out. i hope to see yall there. so i guess i will see yall later.

bad news. i will not be able to make it down saturday as i am going snow goose hunting with a good friend that i don't get to see very often. but i will be down there on sunday so i hope to see everyone then. so i guess unless my plans change i will see you all sunday.

Slim and Alex look odd in pictures like this to me. Noone would ever suspect how lethal these guys are on rough-fish looking at pictures like these. I'm use to seeing them up to their knees in carp and gar.

I have no idea who the bowfisher is.

i was very angry. my snow goose hunt fell through so i came down saturday, but only made it through the first building and then my buddies wife called him because she went into labor. i was happy for him but angry because i did not get to stop by the booth. so how was the rest of the classic?

The show was well attended as usual, and the bowfishing booth is always a source of traffic jams.




The mystery bowfisher is none other than Jeremy Leu from River's Edge. His team mate Larry Simsalso stopped by a few times to chat with us and Kieth from AimLow.

Between these guys, Alex and Luke from the Indy Boys, and Slim, it was a Who's who of Midwestern tourney winners.

The weekend was lots of work for those who volunteered, but well worth it in my opinion. Watching bowfishing videos all day and talking about shooting fish sure gave me the itch to go whack a few.

had a lot of fun talking fish and bows with everyone again this year! made some good contacts about filming some bowfishing and found out what people are willing to pay for a guided bowfishing trip. to all who didnt make it you should plan on it next year. lotsa good public time and a way to promote the sport we love!! also a big thanks to kendal and christine for the use of the house as headquarters again this year! would realy be a expensive trip if i had to stay in a motel all weekend. the meeting went well with a lot of interesting items brought up. i was realy supprised at the results of the survey.
To all you bank walkers out there you had better be ready cause I am gona(try to)dominate this category!!!
