Sam Rayburn Lake
What are the best months forbowfishing at Sam Rayburn? I'm thinking of taking atrip one of these days.

actualy the hotter the better for gar!! it was plum miserable temp wise but man the longnose were everywhere!!! we shot at night but never done much good. got a few 25 lb buffs. robin and keith went 2 days after us and only got a few longnose but awesome buffs. go figure. i realy wanted a 50 lb buff. that is my white rhino!! cant complain i got a 50 lb longnose. just wish i would have had it weighed on certified scales. would be a world record!
