Robster, I'll have Kendall call you about it. Jimmy is a bit shy of telling folks what exactly he's doing since some folks have already been copying his work. There's no real 'trick' he does, just that he does do several things and for a price that makes it worth sending to him, rather than doing it yourself.

Hey everyone, send me your reels and let me "Robsterize" them. It's a secret soI can't tell what I'll do but they will come back lighter in weight than when you sent them to me (read: less parts) and your wallet will be lighter too.

Mark, now let's not get carried away here. I mean "free lube", come on, you know the price of oil these days and besides I only use the most expensive super secret lube in the whole wide world. You make it sound like this is an infomercial. Which btw, do you remember the pocket fisherman by Popeel sp?, well I've come out with a patented Pocket bowfisherman, it fits in your pocket and you're ready to shoot carp anywhere and anytime. It takes up almost no room in your glovebox or tacklebox but Don't try carrying the shock corded foldable arrow with point in your pocket OUCH

Remember, If I didn't do it, then your reels aren't Robsterized!

Guys, all I can say about the Thumper Customizing is that he does several things to make the reel shoot better and last longer for a price that I would not even think about doing it for.

The most noticeable change is the enlarged hole in the front. Jimmy cuts these so that they are concentric to the original hole. This is important. Anyone can rip a bigger hole in the cap and some folks out there are trying.

If I have a reel modified, Thumper will do the job. I heard this Robster guy supplements his reel income by doing some eyeDr. work on the side. Is this the kind of guy you'dtrust working on your reels?
