Suckersticker, It is so exciting to read about you and your dad doing this together. My dad and I did everything together when I was growing up, we were best buddies. He would take a weeks vacation and him and i would go camping together for the week, and swim, fish and he would tell me about life. Unfortuantly He passed away before I got interested in bowfishing on this level. He would have loved it. I imagine that we would have taken two weeks of vacation had he knew bout Big heads. Just want you to cherish every moment. Right now I am making up on it by taking my Sister (Chezhead). Fortuantly she love's it too.

Hey William, glad to hear you and your dad are having a good time out there.

There's a bowfishingtournament at Wonder Lake on August 11th. It's a fair bit north of you, but it's a good lake for the smaller boats.Maybe I'll see you guys up there. :)

i would love to go but i don't believe that my boat would be able to take on that lake. i am trying to get a bigger boat but all i have for now is a 12 foot jon boat with a trolling motor. i will try and get some pictures of it. bowman15 has seen it and can tell you it doesn't ride very high out of the water with me, my father, motor, batteries, bows and gear, not including fish. but i will make it if i can.

I still think you guys would be fine. Last year we got smoked at Wonder Lake by the guys in the canoes. [:-]

Bulz took second place in Junewith his little Green Bobber.

You will want to bring some sort of push pole. The shallow areas are really shallow.(big mud flats) Back when I shot out of a 1648, we'd row across the mud. :D

Kind of hard to row or push pole the pontoon boat. We can see the carp, we just can't get to them. (A fan boat would be sweet out there.)
