What'a day!

Yesterday, Took Chezhead, and Deb up to Jacob's creek. We walked the banks and took a few shots. I managed to land a nice 12 # common and a 10 pound one. Diana made the shot of the day. She was up on top of the train trussle and shot one that was out in the middle of the creek. I could not make the shot as i did not have enough line. How i knew that was she broke her line and her arrow landed in the middle of the creek in plan site. I took a shot across it to try and hook it and bring it in. Well I did not have enough line. But through trial and error did manage to snag it and drag it in. On top of that I spotted a arrow that I lost last november. I was able to strip off down to my skivies and waded out and got it. This was the first time ever i came home with more arrows that i left with. Well short story we landed 3 nice carp. Deb shot a bunch of holes in the water. Then in the afternoon we went mushroom hunting, and i just had the rewards of that for supper. Then on to the night. We headed down to Georgetown lake, got there at 8pm and headed out until 10:30. We just beat the rain. and managed to land another 21 commons and I got a nice 10#7oz buffalo. Deb's practice in the afternoon paid off as she managed to land 6, she and Chezhead managed a double too. Gotta love it.

RE: What'a day!

Sounds great Johnny.
Way to get the girls on fish.
Congrats ladies!
We'll see you at Wonder Lake in June,if not before.

I got one of my lost arrows back earlier this spring too while wading (although I did wear more clothes than you did).
Lost it last fall on a practice shot, of all things, and then walked right to it on my first outing when there was still ice to work around.

Hey Johnny,
Why is it that somebody always ends up in their underwear, getting wet, or bothwhen you go out?
