Spawn On At Evergreen?
 

I was out doing my "rounds" today at the lake and saw down on the south end of the lake near Six Mile Creek Bay (South side of the road) that the shallow water with grass was LOADED with carp! Spawn on? Water is in the low 50's.

Well, since I can't make it to Rend Lake this weekend, it's either Evergreen or Dawson. Hmmmmm, tough decision!

To all that are going to Rend Lake this weekend. GOOD LUCK, HAVE FUN, AND BE SAFE!!!! Be thinking of us poor souls that have to work.

Speaking of the YMCA, actually the YWCA... this was in our paper.

Just because we may not come back with any carp does not mean we wouldn't come back at least smelling like fish.....:)

Well we did end up coming back smelling like fish last night :D. We ended up taking 10 commons and a quilback. Largest common was 3lb 8oz, Mikeys quilback came in a closs second at 3lb 2oz. Water was pretty murky and the wind would not die down. Fish movement was pretty good nevertheless.
