muzzy or whisker biscuit?
well im getting a new hoyt bow so you know what that means. i officially have a bow fishing bow in my old bow. just need a arrow rest and a retriever and im set. what rest do yall reccomend. i want something with pretty goood enclosement so the arrow doesnt fall of TOO easily. i saw the muzzy fish hook, is this a good one? im new to this so bare with me

I have three bows set up for bowfishing; a recurve and two compounds. The recurve I shoot off the shelf, and also one of the compounds (it's older, with a riser that's not cutout like more modern compounds). The other compound I have has a Fishhook rest on it. I like it alot. It's inexpensive, simple and made of tough plastic. That's a good one.
There's others out there, but this is what I use, and I like it. |

One tip on setting up the Fishhook...
Adjust it so that the rest 'rests' down on the riser. There isn't enough friction in the elevation adjustment to hold a heavy fish arrow up for more than a few shots. Don't forget to tune it up so those shafts fly straight or they'll make a quick turn when they hit the water. ;) |
