Shelbyville #3
Snuffy and I hit the water yesterday and I mean litterly. We boated 48 commons. Considering we were shooting in the day, did not see one gar or buffalo. All the commons were small. The largest one was 5#11oz. Water was great, clear and almost calm. Lots of bass fishermen, and musky. Litterly every cove had a boat in it. We fished from 9 am to dark. Had a nice photo op of Snuffy in his skivveys out up to his knees digging out an arrow in a log. You all know the shot. The carp laying next to a log. He aimed too low.

So how long did it take to get the arrow out, and how many people were watching a half-dressed Snuffy wrestle with a log? :D:D

That's a lot of little fish.

Hi there Mr. Extreme,
I think pop and I are going to shoot Shelbyville the last weekend of October. I don't care how big or small they are...I just want to kill some carp. Aunt CHZhead |
RE: Shelbyville #3
Glad you got out. I'll take them big or small.
Ah yes, the old 'arrow in the log' trick. I did that myself from Snuffy's boat this year at Clinton. I shot a tire too during that same trip while Snuffy was fixing the mount for his trolling motor. (Hmm, maybe it's Snuffy);) |
