Feeling disappointed...

I was really feeling disappointed about not being able to make it to Carlyle this past weekend, but after reading the threads I don't feel like I missed much!

I ended up going to my place in Portage on Sat.and remembered to take my bow with me while pan fishing in the boat! The water is pretty stained but I did get 3 shots at some common. Since thisstatementdoesn't say anything about boating said fish I think we all know the outcome ofmy shots!!
Because of this fine display of bowmanship I figured I'd better get in some target practice before teaming up with my brother for the Clinton Tourney. (I'm sure he'd agree)! I had NO idea that lillypads could move out of the way of a penetrator - amazing! I also realized that one should never have a tree just a few feet behind a target (not good on the afore mentioned penetrator). Chris, I now have a really nice practice arrow! Don't worry John, I'll keep practicing! (at least the Bluegill were biting)

Hope to see you all in Clinton!!!

We actually had a good time down at Carlyle, but I'm not sure it would be worth the trip from Racine. ;)

I'm going to check out the spot that Robin shot all those bigheads. That may be worth your trip.

Hope to see you at Clinton!

That's OK. Everybody needs a barbless arrow for practice or demos.
If you were evil, you could even tie to someone else's bow and make them wonder why all their fish pull off. :D

Christine, Robin's bighead place sounds good. I might even get down there eventually to shoot. I'll wait until you all get it scouted out properly, and then you can put me right on some great fishin'.

Sorry that you can't draw your bow Steve. So I drew it for you. Drew you too. Note the cast. (watch that lower limb!)

My talent is astounding isn't it?
