1st Day trip to V. Hills
 

Well headed out to Vermilion Hills fishing club this afternoon for 3 hours. There are carp everywhere. Just wish I could hit one. They are up spawning big time. First the sun went in and wind wanted to blow me everywhere. I was up in shallow water ,so could not use trolling motor. So of course every time i picked up my push pole along came moby dick. Only ended up with 10 in the boat, two 9 pounders, seen some hogs. Had a few pull off and even managed a double, again I landed the smaller male, and the larger female managed to pull off before I could get them both in the boat. Can't wait until tomorrow to give it a go again. At one point I had a whole crowd watching me miss one after another. Was embarrassing to say the least. That 13# record is going to fall tomorrow. Gona take kbi-prez to push the boat for me..
