Lights

Time to start hanging some lights on my bigger boat or my canoe. Anyone using the RAB lights? I know the Hubble 505 are good lights but I wonder if anyone has compared them to the Rab lights?

Going to get my canoe out for the April 1 opener at Dawson Lake.

I'm not familiar with them.
Do you have a pic, or link to specs?

I think they look great with that mirrored parabolic surface, but when I asked about them over on Bowfish USA, I didn't get much of a response. I'd ask there again or on the BAA. Any difference in cost? Wonder how they hold up?

RE: Lights

I think my brother tried these. If I'm not mistaken the biggest difference is the reflector is much better quality.

For the money, $7 workshop halogens. Add $9 or less for GE ultra bulbs and you get plenty of light for a reasonable price. ($15-20 range per light)

Or if you want to get fancy, talk to Pat 'Boatman' Haefner about some HID fixtures. Pat's email is [email protected]
