Van Buren County Iowa Deer Hunts
If you're looking to find a place to hunt those monster Iowa whitetails, try getting ahold of Shawn at this address: [email protected] They don't waste there time or money on big ads, they are thinking word of mouth will get them more than enough hunters. The price of the hunt may be a little more than others, but it does include lodging and they don't tell you when you have to stop or how to hunt. They will work to put you on a good deer though, and provide suggestions. They will get you set up in a stand that they have scouted for you. During the shotgun season, it is possible to shoot an almost unlimited number of deer due to the party hunt system Iowa uses. You have to pay for the first nonresident tag yourself, but then they will let you fill their tags for the cost of a resident tag. (about $26). The property owner is a jovial 'ol boy who will keep you in stitches all day. These are not the type of guys who are going to cater to your every whim types, they are laid back easy to get along with people who will try their damndest to get you a big deer. If you're thinking of hunting Iowa, give these guys a try!
