Guided/Semi guided Cow elk hunt for 2021
 

I am looking for a guided or semi guided rifle cow elk hunt for fall of 2021. I'm not loaded so affordability is a consideration. Prefer Montana or Wyoming, but open. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Have you considered some of the cow elk hunts on Indian reservations or ranches in Utah? Not much further than Wyoming and they tell you where to find/look for the cow elk. They may even help you with getting your animal butchered for a price (have to check into that). I haven't gone on one of these hunts but IIRC, they go for around $1400-$1500 and are sometimes discounted down around $1K or so when they have fewer hunters like now with Covid. If you look through this forum, you should see some hunts advertised by some of the outfitter members here.

You could also check on the same possibilities in Montana or Wyoming.

You should be able to find an outfitter here in Montana, we have a cow shoulder season in many areas of the state. Research a reputable outfitter , many have what you would be looking for I am sure. The shoulder season for cow elk starts August 15 in some areas and runs till Feb. 15 in some.areas.
