Colorado High Country Drop Camp Hunts

I have some spots available for do it yourself high country wilderness pack in hunts for rifle and archery. These are full 5 day hunts, packing in the day before and packing out the day after your scheduled hunt. Extra days can also be arranged. You will be packed into a fully set up wall tent camp via horseback 3-6 miles into the high country depending on the camp. These camps are fully equipped with everything you will need during your hunt, right down to the silverware. You will be given a complete orientation of the area you will be hunting, going over topographic maps, pointing out elk hot spots from years past, your camp will be checked on regularly and any animals you have harvested will be packed out from the kill site. All you have to furnish is your own food and personal gear. Cost is 1400.00 per person plus the cost of the tag, which is available over the counter for rifle hunts with the archery tags being by draw, with a 95% or better chance of drawing a tag. Great high country wilderness pack in hunt with success rates of 60% or better. If you are looking for a economical do it yourself elk hunt, check these hunts out. Call or email for additional information and references.
