Pike County Private Ground Hunt Opportunity
This 80 acre farm with comfortable cabin just North of Barry, IL has been professionally managed (farmed and food plotted) by Hadley Creek Outfitters but hunted only by my family for the past four years. Land is 33 acres crops and food plots, the remainder timbered bluffs, ravines, creek and bedding areas. Good travel corridors to neighboring properties that are also QDM managed. Farm has eight stands (ladders and loc-ons) and a centrally located acre food plot (4th year). We also leave crops after harvest (corn this year). Has three separate entrance points that allows access to different stands without disturbing other areas. Excellent deer densities and trophy potential. I've just invested in upgrading the cabin and am looking to offset some of that cost by offering a limited number of semi-guided hunts in 2010. The maximum number of hunters (October through end of season mid-January) will be eight and no one will hunt the week before you arrive. The farm hunts well for two people. Six day archery= $1,900 per person.
