i would recommend you go with te lighter bullets. 150 to 168 grain bullets are more than enough for rolling a whitetail and will fly truer at longer distances. the federal vital shock loaded with a 165 grain trophy bonded bear claw with stand em still! Every gun shoots something different a little better than others so just try 'em all!

I handload and use Hornady's 165 gr Interbond in my 300 WSM for deer and hogs. They're extremely accurate and couldn't ask for better performance. I don't think they are available in a factory load though.
