2008 Deer Hunting
 

Hello,

The time of year is approaching when sportsmen are reflecting on the past season. Whether 07' was successful or you fell short of acheiving your hunting goals WhitetailsInc was busy finding the best outfitters to make 2008 your best season ever!

For those of you unfamiliar with my company, my name is Pete Katschke and I am a fanatical deer hunter. I used to drool over out of state adventures in the best big buck producing locales, however I was very concerned about handing over my bloodstained blue collar dollars to be the victim of another horror story. I then began a concept of what a hunting consultants job should be. The hunting Consultant should work for the hunter, not merely sell someone else's hunts on a commision basis. I research potential outfitters from every angle I can concieve then evaluate them. Only the best make the grade. In 07' I hunted several locations and found no outfitters that I would be proud to send clients to. Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of top shelf outfitters out there but I wan't WhitetailsInc to be something very special and I believe we are off to a good start.

Nonetheless I have found four outfitters that I believe offer a premium experience. These are hardworking people obsessed with Whitetail deer and consistently putting clients in the right place at the right time. They sweat the details so you don't have to.

For 2008 I offer the following opportunities:

Saskatchewan- This is a small operator by Saskatchewan standards he takes 23 hunters per year. The outfitter is very successful and has a very high rebooking rate. Past clients have first chance to rebook before the end of January. I will then have the opportunity to book any remaining hunts starting Febuary 1st.

Iowa- This operation is owned by two brothers and their success has been phenominal. They take a limited number of hunters every year and take some of the biggest bucks anyone could hope to get a chance at. Multiple deer from 160 to 190 have been taken by the clients of these two, Not just one poster boy. Iowa has been a solid producer of book animals and this operation in the south-central portion of the state rates among the finest.

Illinois- Legendary Pike county is the setting of this larger operation. With hundreds of stand locations across thousands of acres this outfitter has extreme flexibility, and if you want to tweak a setup- no problem an additional 50 stands are available for immediate placement to maximize current activity. You won't be wasting time in cold locations that worked last year!

Mississippi- Green fields, thick bottoms, and other mixed agriculture make up the thousands of acres you will be hunting on here. This farm has been maximized by top wildlife biologists and benefits from a sound management strategy. 130 to 150 deer are a realistic goal here, with some going larger. This hunt offers the chance at very nice bucks and numerous Wild boar are available at no extra charge. This huntrepresents a great value in guided trips.
