got a moose and a caribou last year on the rock best to go in sept or early oct. for mooseI will be back there on the 19th just going for bou this time valley of the bulls look out. get with Ron at [email protected] they are great people! Two of us hunted Moose in Newfoundland with Owlsnest Lodge. Unfortunately, when we arrived in camp our guides told us that the area where we were had some good caribou but had been overhunted for Moose. They said there were only small bulls and a few cows and calves in the area. They told it like it was. The biggest Moose we saw was a two point with about an 18" spread. Therefore, I would NOT recommend Owlsnest Lodge for your hunt. Good luck and I hope you find a great outfitter because there are a lot of Moose up there.
