Default Cherokee Run hunting lodge

I just got home from a great hunt in South Carolina.
Tom at Cherokee Run does a great job taking care of his hunters. My Btother and I went hog hunting there in February. We had such a good time we took the rest of the family back.
This was a combo hog deer hunt. With 7 of us.Tom does a great job at getting to know his hunters and making them feel at home. The lodge was great with plenty of room to spread out. He has a bunch of different properties so he is able to rotate hunters limiting pressure on the game.
Although Im not all about just the harvest, I’m 2 for 2 with Cherokee Run. I shot a big Hog in February and on this trip in early October I was blessed with a 7 point buck.
We were all on the phones driving home planing our next Trip with Tom at Cherokee Run.
I would recommend it to anyone that’s looking for a nice affordable hunt.

This properly belongs in the Hunts/Outfitters Review forum instead of the Big Game hunting forum. This is the forum where you post if you "Went on a great hunt or had a good outfitter? - Write a Review of your experience!" It sounds like you and your whole family had a great hunt and experience. Feel free to post more details and pictures if you'd like.

Some of my hunting buddies went there 7 or 8 years ago. They were a group of 13 and not one person saw a hog during there 5 day hunt. The were also told they would have a pig BBQ that never happened. Furthermore, the following week there was a group of 14 hunters that some were associated with the first group and they that group also did not see any hogs during their time there.

Maybe its new outfitters,

I was just recently talking to one of my buddies that went on that hunt and he said something that was funny to me and i started laughing.

He said one day during his hunt he was fishing.their pond when the owner stopped by and asked him how was the fishing. My buddy said "its like your woods no hogs and no fish."
