FS Leupold/Premier Vari-X II 4-12x40 Target fine duplex mint
 

I have LIKE NEW old-school Leupold/Premier Vari-X IIc 4-12X 40mm A.O. (Adjustable Objective) Fine Duplex target scope available for sale. Scope was bought new from Premier Reticles and they installed the Tall Target Knobs and the fine duplex reticle. I have the original paperwork, original box, and cloth.

This is one of the OLDER, SOLID Leupolds from a different time and is virtually impossible to find in this condition. This scope has always sat on a safe queen.

The scope is 100% functionally and cosmetically perfect. I'm only selling this scope because the fine duplex is too small for my poor vision.

Lenses:
Both the Objective and Ocular lenses are perfect - no scratches, scuffs or rub marks at all. Scope has always had Butler Creek Flip Opens on the scope and they will are included with the scope.

Reticle
The reticle is a Leupold Fine Duplex, which has very fine tapered posts that transition to very fine lines. This reticle is great for small targets at distance and Silhouette. Dial-in your Elevation adjustment, chamber the round, and center the crosshairs on the target. Very importantly, the reticle is set square (it is NOT CANTED which seems much more common in Leupold scopes of the post-Vari-X scopes (VX Series and later).

1" Main Tube:
The tube, turret covers, and turrets are also pristine. No scratches, scuffs, rub marks at all. No dents or dings.
