Custom Turkey Calls
 

I specialize in friction turkey calls. I have attached some pics so you can see my work.

Currently I have the following already made and ready for shipment:
Bloodwood, Padouk, Mahogany - 60 TYD
Quilted Maple, Cedar, and Maple with a Black Wanut trim - 50 TYD

Each call comes with a striker and the prices are to your door.

I know I am new to this site, but feel free to ask any questions or ask for some references.

A Cocobolo Call
 

Slate over glass, with a one piece Cocobolo striker

What is the size of the calls? I'm guessing 3"? And are all of the calls slate over glass or would you happen to have some slate over slates?

They are 3.5", but I do make a 3" call as well. Currently I have a maple with black walnut trim in stock, but I can make one for you to order. Most calls can be make and shipped in 1 week, depending on my wife, kids, and work :action-smiley-099: Just kidding... almost.

But yes, you can pick from Slate, Beaded Glass, Plain Glass, Aluminum, or copper.

Here is a pic of a matching set (add 10.00 for matching striker) They just came off the lathe today and will get a finish on them shortly.

I have 6 more Cocobolo calls ready for tops... I can put either a slate or beaded glass on them...

Turkey season is coming! I am now making what I call a field grade call. They come in either Cherry or Walnut. They are finished the same way, and have the 3 hole design, in either beaded slate or glass, just no concave sides or bottom. If ordered here, the cost is 30 TYD. ( I eat the cost of the priority shipping, as compared to on my website)

I currently have some Cherry and Black Walnut Field Grade pots that are ready to go... They come in either a slate or beaded glass top and have a glass sound board. They come with a standard striker (pictured) for 30.00 TYD.

I also have some black plastic pots ready to go. They also come with either a slate or beaded glass top with a glass sound board and include a standard striker for 25.00 TYD

I have 6 Box calls also ready to ship. They have poplar sides with Black Walnut accents and bottom. The top is made of cherry. They are 25.00 TYD.

I have begun working with Daryn Maynard of Mouthy Maynard Calls to bring you some of the finest hand made mouth calls. I was working on painting our house April 25th hoping to get all of the "honey do list" things done before our turkey season kicked off the next weekend and ended up having my ladder kick out from underneath me... I feel about 12 feet (from the bottom of my feet) onto pavement.

Needless to say, it didn't turn out too well. But to be honest I am glad I only had to have my hip replaced as I am sure it could have turned out much worse.

Thank God for forums like this were I can at least read about and see pics of everyone else's success this year!
