They range from $239-$411.

RE: The Industry's Lightest and Most Advanced Climbing Treestands

Again, what makes them the most advanced climbing stand?

RE: The Industry's Lightest and Most Advanced Climbing Treestands

Apparently they are only one of the lightest, and not advanced at all. I'll Stick with my Summit.

Can you adjust your stand safely while in the tree without having to disconnect a thing and put yourself at any risk of falling? & does your summit weigh 12.5 pounds? Does it have a lifetime warranty? Is it made out of true aircraft alluminum? Keep in mind that if there are bends in your alluminum it is not 6061T6. I'm pretty sure what your answers to all these questions are going to be.

RE: The Industry's Lightest and Most Advanced Climbing Treestands

Just wanted to find out what the stand had to offer. I very seldom have to adjust my stand, but no, I couldn't do it without unhooking. The Equalizer stand can though. But I CAN sit in it ALL DAY comfortably without having to buy any accessories and without readjusting, and moving around alot. That is very important to me especially during the rut, as I usually stay put from daylight until dark.I don't usually pack in too far so comfort is more of an issue with me than weight. I had a Lone Wolf Sit and Climb, nice and light, but expensive. It was a piece of crap when it came to comfort.Sold it after 1 week.Went back to my Summit.

Just looking at the pics, I can't see a way to adjust the stand without unhooking the cable and moving it in or out and then rehooking.

I think that before you should knock my stands you should sit in it, so that you can see that it has easy chair comfortability just like the stand that you're sitting in now. As well as all of the other great features that we have already discussed.

RE: The Industry's Lightest and Most Advanced Climbing Treestands

As the instructions read, it is done by just turning the knob.

Not knocking your stand, it looks good. There were no instructions that I seen with the pictures. If you can adjust it by just turning the knob, that's a nice feature. If I can get one for the same price that I can get another Summit for, I would like totry one. I can get a new Summit Viper SS for $219.95 + shipping.

WOW! I never looked at the prices. $311.00 was the cheapest one I saw. Those are some High $$$$$ stands. No treestand IMO is worth that.Sorry, not willing to try one at those prices. I didn't see any for $239.00 either. What's the deal?

I do Like your stand But the cost is the factor that turns me off as Excaliber 43 said I will stick with My Summit.

excalibur43 07-10-2009 08:32 AM

So where's the $239.00 model?

EndeavorShooter 07-10-2009 10:30 AM

For the money this is a link to the most comfortable stand I have ever sat in all day. Easy to climb and you can face the tree or with your back to it. very comfortable for an all day sit. and if you are just a gun hunter they have a great model for under $200 that really nice. I personally own 2 of the supermags and wouldn't trade them for anything.

looks about like the old Warren & Sweat treestands. imo that style is way behind the times. the days of having "blades" that bite into the tree are over for me. the last stand i had with those tried to throw you out of the tree....lol
