latest knife
 

hi all :)
just finished this one up,
entirely hand done,
forged to shape, profile and bevels further defined with files
finished with stones and paper. guard hotpunched and filed, etcetcetc

built handle 3/4 tang OAL is 12 inches with a 6 1/2 inch blade.
o1 tool steel, bleach etched, guard is mild steel, bolster is wrought iron, handle is curly maple pinned with steel and brass.
still needs some final polish IMO as well as its sheath....since its high carbon Im working on a wood core, vegtan covered sheath with a steel throat and chape.
anyway here ya go and please remember it needs a final polish, just couldnt wait to share ;)

450 with leather sheath, 600 with the hickory core leather wrapped, steel throat and chape sheath Im working on for it.
