Ideal Feeder Height

At what height you think the bottom of a feeder should be? and by the bottom I'm refering to the bottom of the actual feeder motor. Thanks.

RE: Ideal Feeder Height

here in texas i have my feeders from 6ft and up. it is really up to you. the feed is still going to fall. know if you are talking about the distance between the the barrel and the spiinner of the motor. then give it enogh distance for the type of feed that you are going to use is able to fly out freely once the motor is on.

Thanks Tire, that's what I figured....I just wanted to confirm that. It's funny how alot of tri-pod feeders are well below 6 ft but most prefer to be above 6ft.
