CLIMBING TREE STAND-FREE !!
 

Hey Gang, I have a used climber I took in as a trade to help someone and would like to give it a young hunter just starting out or to someone who just don't have a stand yet that is new to the sport and maybe a little short on cash. I don't know what brand it is( I do know it was from Dicks) it's steel not alumn. thats why I don't want it and it's only a year or two old. I will try to post a pic. later... just come and pick it up!!! ....joe

I'll post some pic's later on, and if you pay shipping sure! It looks something like a summit (viper) but the part that hugs the tree is a steel cable inside a rubber tube kinda..

Sounds like an Ameristep that's sold by WalMart. They usually have them in steel and aluminum both.
You can do a search and get an idea of what it is.

I would even buy it from you - I have 10, 12, 14 nad 16 year old hunters and a never ending need for stands.

I would love it, right now i am in college and broke, had to pay tutition yesterday at The university of Wisconsin Milwaukee. I am in the school of ed and the stand i have now is out the door,it has rust and is probably not the safest. Problem is i can hunt in many places, time and homework permitting and i dont have a stand that can move. I want to buy one, and a new bow but well just workin with whati got, then hopfully that teacher $$ will kick in once i graduate in about 1.5-2 years.

Well thanks for the consideration, and i think its awesome that you would do this--even if its not coming to me!
