Rangefinders

I am currently looking at the Newcon LRM 1500 rangefinder, put alongside the Bushnell & the Nikon, they seem to be the best for theprice, has anyoneowned or used these in the field, could you let me know if they are reliable and do what the gunshop sales people say they do!!!

RE: Rangefinders

I have a Nikon Monarch Laser800 and I am real happy with it. It is clear, fast and simple as well as light weight.

RE: Rangefinders

Boughta Bushnell Pro Trophy today, tried it out on all sorts of ranges, and targets, seemed very reliable, worked right up to dusk, has really altered my perceptionof how much you thinkobjects are placed from you,รก 3-9x40mm Leupold doesnt help estimating distances tothe eye. This is the first rangefinder I have used, and after sighting my rifle at a paced out 200m, I think I haveactually sighted the rifle to about 150m, based on using this rangefinder today. We grossly over estimate distances, and gee that was a great 250m shot, well it is actually about 175m. Some truth serum about to be adminstered to thehunting trips!!!!!
