Summit Vipers?

I have an opportunity to buy a Viper from a friend for $175. It's new, never been out of the box. Is it a good stand to buy. And is this a good price to buy it at? Reviews and comments are appreciated. Thanks.

I'd pay 175 for it. Make sure the full budy restraint comes with it. It should be seat of the pants fall resraint.

Good buy! and is the best stand I can think of. Most of the time you will pay $249.00 plus tax & shipping. I have just finished a 1 year search for the best climbing stand and bougt a Viper this week. I have no regrets....This is a very comfortable stand while climbing, sitting and packing it in......5 year warranty and very helpful staff at Summit.....
