RE: 2-Way Radios

I went from Cobra to Motorola aswell and I also agree the quality in my new radios is better. I also think that Cabela's or Best Buy are the places to go for the best deals on the Motorola.

I have a set of Motorola Talk-about 250's. They work great they have good range and are clear. I also have a set of Cobra radios (not near as good). The Motorola is the only way to go. We use the Motorola with the earbud. They allow you to talk to a friend/fellow hunter with no noise. During bow season we can hunt within 100 yards of each other. This allows us to tell the other the direction a deer is going.

I agree with all you said, the earbuds are definitely the way to go when deer hunting, just be careful though using them to comunicate the location and direction of game like you describe is illegal in many states.

Of course I never use mine that way!<img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>
