I've only handled them, and they are a quality product. The thing that bothers me is that the camp knife has an AUS-8 steel blade. This steel will take a wickedly sharp edge, but there are a lot of steels which will hold an edge much longer. Considering that a camp knife gets used for all kinds of cutting tasks, I would want a blade which would hold an edge longer.

i own the brown bear combo and love it. I am a hunting guide in NE BC and the combo is tramendous for quartering, skinning and caping moose, elk and sheep. I will never own another knife set.

The Brown Bear is D2 steel i think, Which has exceptional edge holding properties. I'm not sure why they make the camp knife out of AUS-8. The rest of the line is D2.

I have several knives - The bush knife, the cub bear and the skinner. The bush knive is AUS8 b/c it can be easily resharpened and was thought to be a good camp knife. The bush knife is too big for me to skin deer, but has been a great camp knife. I have really enjoyed and prefer the skinner. It looks a little non-traditional, but is a great skinner / butcher for whitetail. A quick story - I let a friend use the cub bear one evening while field dressing a deer. He left the knife on the hood of my truck and we took off. We heard the knife bounce from the hood while driving 50 mph. I found the knife with a broken tip. I explained what I had done and returned it to the company to see if they would honor the warranty. I received a new knife and a check to cover my cost of shipping. Teere are not many companies that stand behind that kind of guaranty.
