Default Portable Ground Blinds

Has anyone used a popup blind?? Did you have to leave it out for the game to become accustomed to?? Theft unfortunately is a real concern in my area, and makes it impossible to leave one out. I have a few " hot spots" that don't have adequate trees to hang a stand! Can anyone recommend a blind?? I'm looking at Double Bull Archery brand now. Thanks!!

seriously considering cutting foliage and making one of your own they always seem to work the best for me. they are great blinds they dont smell or stand out.

I use a Double bull Blind. I have had turkeys about 10 Feet away without knowing I was there. I have even moves around in the blind after they had beed there awile without them knowing.

Whitetails have been about 30 yard from me. They could smell me but they couldn't see me.

They are very easy to put up also.

I have 2 double bulls, they are great so fast on the set up under 5 seconds. I have had deer and turkey look in the windows, turkey do not pay any attention to it at all, sometime deer might shy away but come back right away, I have set inside and waved at the game and they can not see me. Again GREAT. [email protected]

I have a Texas Special, from Luckey's Tent Co....I have had deer 10 feet away and not pay any attention to the blind.
I found I get best results if I cut out an area within a small grove of trees.
The deer seem to just look at it and go on about their buisness.

I have the ameristep doghouse and it's fine for gun, sets up and folds down easily, but you can forget bowhunting out of it. It's not wide enough. the only way to shoot a bow out of it is to stick the bow out the window or open the back flap and sit in the doorway.
