Irish Setter Boots

Just purchased a pair with 600 grams, h20 proof, they have great ankle support. My last pair had 400 grams of thinsulate and my feet froze. Anybody got any expierence with Irish Setter?

RE: Irish Setter Boots

I have a pair of Deer Slayer ( or something like that) 800g thinsulate and the work pretty well. I use them for icefishing and late november deer hunting. Never had a problem with them. Had them for 2 years now.

They were a little warm for Oct bow season in Michigan so i bought some Uninsulated Rocky boots and i hate them. They give me blisters and they outsides of them get saturated with water and makes them weigh a ton. Worst $120 I spent all year!

I got a pair of 800 gram Irish Setter boots two years ago and now also have a pair of uninsulated and 1000 gram. They are great boots, warm, comfy, waterproof, and hold up to the abuse of hunting in WI swamps and the CO mountains. I just may get a pair of 1400 gram for late season bow hunting.
