Irish Setter Buck Tracker Boots
Does anyone own a pair of these boots??? I was looking at them at Bass Pro. The boots look very comfortable, but I am worried about the leather on the boot. The tag says they have scent ban, but I don't know how effective that is.
If anyone can give me a review of this product, I would greatly appreciate it.

I don't have the same pair but do have both the Big Game and Snow Stalker Irish Setter boots. They have been excellent, warm, dry, comfortable and very easy to walk lots with (light). My Big Games are 5 years old and still my most used boot, working excellent and no leaks..thread has stood up excellent seeing I wear them as my winter boot as well. I have no complaints and would say the Bucks if you need the extra insulation (1600grams) should work well.
Never worried much about leather uppers in the past and I find them to be more durable than a rubber for our cool climate.
Best of luck!

I purchased a pair of Irish Setter boots two years ago and now own 3 pair, uninsulated,800gram, and 1000gram. I love them and just may get a pair of there new 1400gram for long cold days in the late bow season.

My caribou guide had them on a hunt last month. He liked them.
That being said, in my experience any boot with Goretex and not 100% leather outers will still leak after a few years of use. (Heck, this year I sent back two "waterproof" boots from Wolverine and Timberland that leaked straight out of the box!)
All-leather boots with goretex booties will still leak after a few days of steady rain.
(That's been my experience; please don't flame!)
