Burris Fullfield II Scopes
Do anybody have any experience with these scopes? Are they any good? Does Burris have good customer service?

RE: Burris Fullfield II Scopes
I have owned 2 FF II's and am batting 50% with them. I understand they are now made in Japan which is a good thing since they are probably better made then the mess I got the first time. The last one I purchased 3.5-10x50 was a good scope for the money. The first one was a disaster and I have posted here about it many times. I have also owned 4 signature scopes and batted 50 % with them . 1.5-5,2.5-10x44,(2) 3-9x40's granted these were the original turret forward design signatures. The new models have changed. Even though I had some problems with them I wouldn't discount not owning another but quite frankly there are better scopes out there in the same value range.
Bushnell,Leupold,Nikon,Pentax,Sightron are priced similiarly and in one example made by Burris(Pentax) and would be better buys. Weaver and other lower priced scopes are also very well put together scopes. Try them all and see what you like best is my best advice. Their CS has no where to go but up Is about all I can say:D |
RE: Burris Fullfield II Scopes
I just picked up a Winchester M70 Ultimate Shadow in 300WSM. I am looked for a scope to top it with. It comes down to a scope that is $250 or less for now because I also got some Leica Trinovid binos. That being said I am considering:
1. Bushnell Elite 3200 w/ rainguard 2. Burris Fullfield II 3. Anything else that you guys think would be appropriate. What do you guys think? |
RE: Burris Fullfield II Scopes
Leupold VX-II(The New Model) Nikon MOnarch both will be in that range depending on power and should be all you need. Look them up in Ebay and you should find them.

RE: Burris Fullfield II Scopes
After reviewing a lot of scopes, I ended up choosing a Nikon Monarch 3-9x40.
Thanks for everyone's advise. |
RE: Burris Fullfield II Scopes
I have 2 of these scopes in 3 - 9x. One on my 7-08 and the other on my 270. I really like them. They are clear and the ballistic plex really works. Last month I took an antelope at 275 yds and a mulie at 438 yds, both with the .270.
