Leaded Barrel

Hey

What solvent is effective for removing lead fowling? I have a Marlin 512 that saw a few rifled slugs, and there is some lead in the grooves that is stubborn to remove.

Nitro Bore Cleaner and Birchwood Casey's Gun Scrubber with new bore brush. Scrub barrel with NBC and clean with BCGS. Repeat, if needed....
