RE: Tree Lounger Climbing Stand
It's a phase in your life you'll get over it and finally end up getting a real treestand. If you buy one make sure you have adequate health coverage and a good life insurance policy.

RE: Tree Lounger Climbing Stand
OEH, the Treelounge is the safest climbing stand I've ever hunted from! I don't know where you are comming from with safety issues on the Treelounge! It is the only climber that I have ever felt comfortable enough to fall asleep in! As I said, you either love 'em or you hate 'em! That is why I picked up mine at a bargain price!:D

RE: Tree Lounger Climbing Stand
If you have one of the old ones you have a safe stand..not the new redesigned ones..I purchased one and it almost killed me and was extremely unstable on a sweet gum tree and a pine tree I climbed with it, it had the new leveler system which I see has been replaced recently..It free fell both times on me while I was turning to set the leveler. I like the old ones but they are entirely too noisy and heavy to be lugging around. Lots of better selections out there for the same money TL charges or even less. I sold my TL to someone who absolutely had to have it, they don't have it anymore and sold it to a gunsmith who doesn't have it anymore. There was a thread about this going around bout a year or so concerning their safety.

RE: Tree Lounger Climbing Stand
I used one last year (it was an older version). It was very heavy, noisy and aquward to carry around. I would look at some of the Summit climbers if I were to purchase another climber.

RE: Tree Lounger Climbing Stand
oeh you must be crazy. the new version tree stand i have you can hang over the side and it won't move an inch. so if all you were doing is turning around then you didn't have it fastened correctly. if you need instructions tree lounge will give you a video for free. also just shows how stupid some people are on here. if you weren't happy with it in the first place tree lounge would have refunded your money less shipping. i bet you didn't sell it for what you paid for it or you never had one and just throwing the bull. i have 2, the new and the old model and wouldn't trade them both for twenty summits. well maybe twenty but not even trade. i wouldn't even think of anyother stand for my teenage son who is just learning and doesn't know alot about stands. i fell totaly relaxed knowing he is in THE SAFEST STAND ON THE MARKET PERIOD.
THAT IS ALL I HAVE TO SAY ABOUT THAT |

RE: Tree Lounger Climbing Stand
No unfortunately when they redid their site a year or so ago they messed up some dates. I have been on this site since 2001 I know that for a fact. I only comment on guns or equipment I actually have owned and don't depend on hearsay, no I don't like slamming manufacturers but TL's deserve it big time. That is my opinion of TL in general.
