Rocky SilentHunter Quad Parka
 

I was checking them out in Cabela's today. Anybody have this? They say it's waterproof - any testimonials? It's not Gore-Tex so I am questioning just how waterproof it is.

I HAVE THE ROCKY BOMBER JACKET AND BIBS. I BOUGHT THEM FROM CABELAS LAST DECEMBER FOR A DEER HUNTING TRIP TO ALABAMA. THEY KEEP ME WARM IN 25-30 DEGREE WEATHER. THINSULATE INSULATION AND THE WATERPROOF FABRIC KEEP ME IN THE WOODS ALOT LONGER THAN MY OLDER WALLS COVERALLS EVERDID. ROLL TIDE

:D I don't have the jacket, they didn't have my size, but I do have the bib pants & have worn them in the pi$$ing rain & stayed as dry as the Sahara Desert....i've also worn them in sub zero temps (Ontario Canada)& they have been as warm as the Sahara Desert as well...;)...all I can say is, if the coat is half as good as the bib pants, you can't go wrong!!!!!! I just bought a Rocky Pro Hunter Quad Parka a few weeks ago. It isn't Gore-tex either but is definately waterproof. (I tested it with the water hose) It's really warm too.
