I am looking at buying a game camera, there are so many on the market I don't know which one to buy. Are the digital cameras worth the money, what makes them bettter?

leaf river products has a affordable game cam. i paid $169. it has a canon camera inside. i have put almost 20 rolls of film thri it without a bad pic

I had always wanted one as well but just could not see paying the kind of money they were asking for them two or three years ago. Last year I ended up buying a Stealth cam for around $70 just to try out. I have been pleased with the unit's functionality and overall picture quality...plus I probably won't be as upset if someone steals it...especially in comparison to some of those more expensive units.

I think the Digital game cams definitely have advantages as well but for my present situation I don't see the need to spend the extra money.
