Digital Game Cams

I am looking to get one or two digital game cams in the next few months.

Any recommendations on which one is the best? I'm not interested in the infrared models such as the Highlander as I really like color pictures. Looking for a good reliable digital cam.

Thanks for your advice . . . Rob

I have a Camtrakker. It is the 35mm one though. The only complaint I have with the one I have is it doesn't have any indicator to tell you when your batteries get low. You basically have to guess. Don't know if the newer ones have an indicator or not. But it sure does take some quality pictures. A guy I work with has a $70 Wally World special (Stealth Cam) and there is no comparison in the quality of the pictures to the Camtrakker. If I were looking for another in the mid price range, I would give serious consideration to the Nontypical Deercam. Natchez has the Deercam on sale for $219. If you want a good digital camera though, you better be prepared to put out some big bucks. They're a little too pricey for me yet.

Rob the only digitals I would have much faith in is the camtrakker but OUCH, I think they are pretty pricey, I believe they are a 1000 bucks or more.

Rob, I am going to get the Stealth digital. It just came out last month for around 270. Don't have it yet, but from what I've read and heard, it's a great deal, has some great features and takes good color pics. Some digitals for more only take B&W.
