"Suppressant Camo"

Has anyone used this camo? Unlike scentblock , it is worn on the outside rather than under any other clothing.

For warmer days I wear a light unionsuit of AbScent , which is similar to Suppressant . It is worn inside , but seems to suppress my scent pretty well and doesn't plug up like ScentLok .

I have limited experience with what Kevin described and, again, with limited success. I have not heard of the other. Where can I get a look at it?

Gander Mt sells both of those scent blocking outfits. There's a Gander Mt down in the Poconos. (www.gandermountain.com) check the store locator.

Ed, if you mean Supprescent by Goretex, it is very similiar to ScentLok and Scentblocker except Goretex imbeds their carbon. Supposedly it will not wash out or fall out! Although Scentblocker is supposed to contain more carbon, pro shops have told me that Scentblocker will lose effectiveness over time while Supprescent by Goretex stays the same. This coming from proshops who sell more Scentblocker than either!!!

Supprescent is also available in tops and bottoms that go under your regular camo. Bass Pro was selling the undergarments but have sold out I think. Browning and Whitewater Outdoors are two big companies making camo clothing out of Supprescent, along with some others.

Thanks for the replies. I ran into my son at Gander Mt who happened to be shopping for some "huntin" stuff" for me from my wife. They had the Suppressant tops & Bottoms for $140 each marked down to $100 and then 50% off that. The head cover was marked down from $50 to $15. I got to try them on to make sure they fit. Now I have to act surprised Christmas morning .:D Oh yeah , gloves too .

I have a Gore-Tex Supprescent microsuede jacket. First time I used it, I got within 12 yards of a doe. Which isn't bad for someone thats somewhat new to hunting. The wind was in my favor too:D All I need now is a pair of supprescent pants;)
