Default Danner Boots

What's going on with Danner Boots? Everywhere I check I run into, out of stock in most sizes. I though someone on this site might know what's going on.

I will never buy Danner or Rocky boots again. Their customer service sucks. I had a sole come apart on a brand new pair of Danners after only a couple weeks (I worked for a survey crew in the woods and relied on boots every day).and Danner basically told me to pound sand! Same for Rocky boots.
This was 40+ years ago and I switched to Browning and Herman Survivors. The Brownings lasted for years until the souls got smooth (I still wear them) and the Hermans are the most comfortable boots I've ever worn.

My old Danners finally wore out late last fall. When I looked around for replacements, I wasn't impressed with the products they were currently putting out. In looking around, I finally settled on these . I've worn them hiking all winter in snow and temps down to zero. My feet never got wet or cold. So far I'm impressed.

That looks like a really nice boot Wingbone. Are they comfy?

Extremely. I usually have to wear gel insoles in my boots, not these. Also they have excellent ankle support. I have ripped ligaments in both ankles so ankle support is paramount to me

I have found that Danner boots are suspect. The waterproof deal only lasts one season. I have quit buying them. Long ago I had a pair of Pronghorns and they worn for a very long time. Snakeboots leaked almost from the beginning as well as a pair of Vitals.
