Scope Cleaning

What do you guys use to clean your scope? I used Castle window cleaner on my binoculars and it took the coating off my lens. I dont want to mess up my new Bushnell Banner Scope when I clean the lens.

I use plain water and soft cotton gun patch material.

I use a lens pen(available at any hunting store) and for spots i just breath on the lens and then use the felt end on the pen in a circular motion. Never had a problem or damage with using a pen and they are very reasonable. The other option is a silk lens cloth(available at any eye glass place), again circular motion and breath on the lens to remove water spots, etc. Either are safe and effective on any optic len.

Go to the camera store and buy a lens cleaning kit.It contains a Blower brush, cleaning solvent and tissues. They are only a few dollars and work well.
