How often do yall call while hunting ?
 

I know it varies with what type of call(Social Contact, Doe Estrus, Tending Grunt,...) but ive heard various opinions. And which calls do yall find most effective? I have noticed that the Social Contact call of a doe has been the most effective during the rut or anytime. Im interested in what yall do?

I try not to call too often despite the urges I feel. Usually a couple grunts every half hour are the extent of it. I would agree about the social doe call.

I call about every 15 min. I have had the most success with the doe call also.

I call about every 20 to 30 minutes depending on the action and response.

I don' t blind call unless rattling, then it is about every 15-30 mins depending on the mood (I and the deer are in;)).

Every 20-25 minutes. Most of the season I haven' t had much luck - this past saturday I grunted 4 deer into 40-45 yards. Three were bucks and the other one came in to late to see it' s head.
