Smile Summer/Uninsulated Hunting Boots

Hey everyone, just looking to get ideas for uninsulated hiking boots. I have a pair of Irish Setter Elk Trackers in 600g for winter and I love them to death.

I really like the style (leather, tongue protector, etc.) and would like a similar pair of boots for the off-season.

What would you say is the uninsulated equivalent to the Elk Trackers? Aside from the uninsulated version of the Elk Trackers of course...

Failing that, what are your favorite uninsulated hiking/hunting boots?

I was a big fan of redhead "tracker" boots for a while. I went through 2 pairs hunting broken ground and grassy lava rocks in 7 years. The first pair served me well, but the second pair had a different sole material. It was soft for the rocks, and they basically ate my boots in 2 seasons.

I think it's better to spend a little more on a boot that lasts for many seasons, than a cheaper one you have to replace more often.
I have some Cabelas Outfitter series boots. They're great, but the Thinsulate is a bit much for where I hunt. Also checkout their Iron Ridge line of boots.

Everyone's feet are different. One of the most comfortable boots I have worn were non- insulated Danner Pronghorn boots. Good sole, support and lite in weight. Felt like I had sneakers on. That was a few years ago and I understand they might be made in China now...not sure if that is the case if they are still good boots.
