Who all wears the clothing that has the scent killer in it like the Scent Lok, and are they worth the money?

I have used scent-lok clothing for about 3 years now and I have no complaints yet.I store them in the green scent proof bags from cabella' s. $9.99 with any scent-lok purchase.

They can reduce the amount of odor that you would otherwise release , but they shouldn' t be considered permanent regardless of what the manufacturer says . Don' t believe that " recharge in the dryer" thing either , it' s bulljunk .

I have a Scent Lok Savanna lightweight suit and a ScentBlocker Plus Outfitter suit. I like them. I' m not head over heals telling everyone they must buy them though. I think they help eliminate odor but are far from perfect.

Little story for you!!!! This was last weekend.

I wear scent blocker plus. Last weekend I had a stiff wind blowing. I had a few deer come in from the " wrong" direction than I anticipated. Well, two of the does came within 5 feet of me....DOWNWIND!!!! I could have touched them. Well, one of them looked up and saw me sitting there (I was on the ground in some bushes). She kind of freaked out and did a little jump and got further away from me. She was about ten yards. She was sticking her nose in the air trying to wind me. She could' nt do it!!!!! She then took off and circled around and came up again about 50 yards out. Still trying to wind me!!!!! Could' nt do it. She never got me. She dissapeared and then came back about anhour later still checking me out trying to wind me. No luck. I' ve been wearing scent control clothing for a about a two years now. I' m a true believer now!!!!!!!! I shower everytime with
S & P body wash and shampoo. Then I keep all my camo in tupperware, and wash them in scent blocker detergent. I put them on out in the field, then spray down with scent killer!!!!! It' s kind of a pain, but it works. Have yet to be winded this year!!!!!

I agree with kevin they help yes,and the dryer recharge is crap,but they do help

But it should never be relied upon as a total substitute to reading the wind. Just my opinion. Reading and playing the wind is, I think, a fundamental hunting skill that can' t be overlooked.

Amen to playing the wind , you can' t cover everything that smells . Carbon gives a nice edge , but it ain' t bulletproof !

Fools and their money are soon parted.Scientifically carbon does absorb odors. In practice when you get the clothes they have already absorbed all the odors they can hold.To regenerate the carbon would require greater heat than the fabric can stand.
