To hide the light color of the skin on my hands from the sharp eyes of a turkey in the spring or for the same reason when bow hunting for deer especially my bow hand, my release hand is not to big of a concern.

For turkey a must, predator hunting still important, even advise for deer.

Keep your hand movement within the "frame" of your body - any movement outside the fame of your body; you might as well wave a white flag - LOL

I usually feel uncomfortable wearing gloves. The only reasons I don't like hunting on a cold weather...

Very good tips! Always keep your movements slow and to a minimum, as well as your hands and arms within the frame of your body! That's one of the hardest things to teach kids and new older hunters that I mentor. One kid was so bad when we were turkey hunting that I felt like putting him in a straight jacket, LOL!

I wear deer skin leather gloves with some kind of synthetic super warm, but thin filler.

I can't remember what brand they are but there super warm, thin and mobile. Will update with the brand name later.
