I live in northwestern sd and November is probably one of the most unpredictable months of the year. I have seen below zero wind chills in mid November and I have also been deer hunting in a tee shirt in mid November. A good base layer, a light jacket, insulated and water proof bibs and parka. A good pair of Gore-Tex 600 to 1000 gram insulated boots, and warm gloves and hat. I am assuming you are going to be deer hunting. If you are going to be walking all day for pheasants you will probably want to dress lighter.

I will be deer, pheasant and turkey hunting. I was looking at merino wool for my base layer. I also bave some under armounr 400gram insulation boots.
I am having a hard time finding a good jacket
