Anyone own/use a UTV for hunting?
 

Hi everyone. New to the boards here.

I'm doing some research and hope to conduct online interviews with people who own UTVs / side-by-sides. The interviews will last about an hour and be by videoconference. I’m interested in finding out what you use your UTV for (hunting or even for fun), and what features you look for in a UTV. If you're interested in being involved please PM me and I’ll provide more details/credentials about myself. I will compensate participants $100 for their time.

What's a UTV ?

My horse is an ATA but he's never heard of a UTV either. I asked him.

We are both stumped.

Utility-Terrain Vehicle...

I use one when it is cold because it has a cab and heater. Other wise I prefer my 4 wheeler

I think I'll stick with ankle express and shank's mare. They always work, get me in an out of any terrain and don't require any maintenance!

That's me too. But as my legs get older I depend more and more on old Dollar. He enjoys his work, doesn't make any more noise than an elk, and there are no USFS restrictions on where he can go.

I use mine moose hunting and bear hunting.

I use mine to plow snow, haul wood, haul my boats out of the pole barn, haul stone, haul kids through the woods, and then turkey hunt hauling my gear.
