Tundra10 12-27-2012 10:44 PM

Opinion = WOM

midsouth_hunter 12-28-2012 04:17 AM

No way would I buy one of these things, especially for the cost.

grinder67 12-30-2012 03:33 PM

what does wom stand for?

DJfan 12-30-2012 03:53 PM

I'm guessing its "waste of money."

grinder67 12-30-2012 05:40 PM

if you're loaded and have nothing else to buy, why not. :D

You didn't buy a dead silence and screaming hen turkey call did ya?

Thebigguy 12-31-2012 05:16 PM

Bought one right before the season and it really helped. I have a few stands that deer come from just about every direction. There is no "good" wind for this spot. I had deer walk in from downwind on several occasions. They didn't seem like they cared. Ozonics isn't cheap but neither are ScentLok suits. What's nice about Ozonics is you don't need to shower after work like I did with my ScentLok. It basically adds 20 minutes to my hunts every night. When you consider that, it's an easy investment.

BRUSE 12-31-2012 06:45 PM

I don't think they work or would I buy one. It's the like the hunter on tv wearing all the scent lok suit swearing by it and the guide in blue jeans. Just something else to to sell.

I've heard great things about them but they're too pricy for me. Ill just take my shower with my hunters specialties soap and play the wind...if I was worried about steering catching my scent. I hunt heavily used public land which probably has more human scent than deer scent so I don't worry to much about scent control beside the shower. That's another reason that keeps me from buying one

I have the screeming hen call. I thought hey it couldn't hurt to give it a try and it was 2$ at the Walmart and I had a gift card so I thought. What the heck

At some point...

you have to stop spending money, for things that even work.

Once nearly rented a machine from a rental co. It was used very successfully in motels for things like smoking, but I went with my homemade scent killer.

The smoke damage to an auto got cleared up with a gallon of homemade scent killer. And the $1500 estimate was taken care of. Those are the dollars I enjoy taking care of with minimum cost.
