Gun safe placement
 

Is it alright to put my gun safe in my shop? It doesn't have any insulation, heat or ac. It does have a concrete floor and is secure. I don't have room in my house (says the wife). I'm worried about moisture and condensation. Not sure if a dehumidifier would be good enough.

Should be fine. Put a dehumidifier in it to be on the safe side though. I have my gun safe in my garage right now and all my guns are fine after 7 months of being in there.

i have mine outside in the shop with 1" anchors holdin it to the floor....i used 4-- 10lb plates(think weight bench/set) as spacers to keep it off the ground in case of moisture...so it wont rust. i have a bag of moisture absorbent...its bigger than shaqs foot..i got from a robot job i keep on the bottom shelf. so far so good. 7 years

Should be fine, but I would keep it off the ground also.
